I tried two completely different HDTVs before purchasing this one. Both have been edge-lit LED and both exhibited some clouding and flashlighting (very bright reveal in the corners). I took a chance on this Sony in line with the quality of my earlier Sony merchandise and remarks/reviews from others. I actually have now not been disappointed.
First off, I would like to reward Amazon for getting this TV to me fast and that in one piece. From the time I ordered it to plugging it in was once lower than 6 days! Pilot was the supply firm and I truly have now nothing however nice things to claim about them.
From the moment you're taking it out of the field you must just like the look of this television. The front panel is all glass--no plastic bezel around the outdoor. It is a handsome tv. It can be reasonably heavy.

CONNECTIONS: My computer and PlayStation are both linked to the TV with 12' long inexpensive HDMI cables purchased from Harbor Freight (seller of low-cost softwares). The 3D starter pack I purchased came with a "High-speed HDMI cable..... (for the) transfer of both threeD video and audio signals". So far the inexpensive HDMI cable seems to work high-quality even with threeD content. The TV can also be linked to the web with a cat 5 cable. It has WiFi however I didn't need it (or are attempting it). I have high pace internet get admission to through the native cable provider. I have experienced no trouble streaming content material.
ANTENNA: I get the same collection of channels over the air as I did after I had a 7 yr previous frequent HD TV. There is an onscreen program guide. Seriously, it is one of the absolute best looking television I suppose I've ever considered. I didn't get the 3D add-on gadget because I'm just under no circumstances enthusiastic about that.
